The purpose of this page is tor provide a method by which the general public may submit information to our website.

Submissions fall under two categories:
1. Breaking News: includes fires, accidents, severe weather conditions.
2. Promoting an Event: this may include the promotion of an upcoming event or reporting on one that already occured.

Instructions:
Step 1
Type in your name, email address, and current phone number where you can be reached. If you are not the contact person please include that persons name and phone number. We will not publish stories we cannot confirm.

Step 2
Select the type of story you are submitting. Choose between breaking news or promoting an event.

Step 3
Type in the information from your story. Try to keep this part short and about the main facts. We would suggest using the following guidelines.

Sample Story Format
Who: Jane Doe

What: She was involved in a car accident. Details are unclear, but it looks like a deer ran out in front of her car. Although her car was heavily damaged Jane was not seriously injured.

When: Sometime in the afternoon on Friday January 14

Where: Happened on Highway 41 south just outside of Medicine Hat

Why: Not Applicable

Step 4
If you have a picture involving the story click on the browse button, then find the location of the picture on your computer. Select the picture and click open.

Step 5
Before you click on the submit button go over all the information and make sure its correct. Then when you're ready, click on the submit button.
