Looks like taxpayers will now pay
Looks like the taxpayers will now pay for the new event center. At least the Lansdowne site would have been paid for and operated by the Lansdowne Equity Ventures Ltd...... Something the city was pretty quiet about letting the public know.

Totally Agree
I have to agree. I don't think we have heard everything we need to know - just like the Esplanade and the Leisure Centre. Maybe it is time the city got out of the business and let a business run the Events Centre like most cities have done.
