I am tickled pink with all of the help
that was out in Seven Persons with the tornado. People came off
their jobs with their trucks and helped out. Thanks to the
community for helping out as much as you could.
I am tickled pink at the one woman and two
gentleman who helped me when I ran out of gas. They drove to Bow
Island and picked up gas for me. I really appreciate it. It's good
to have people around like that.
I'm ticked off that some people actually
think that global warming will cause a drop in sea levels. The
melting of icebergs isn't an issue we should be concerned with.
However, the melting of glaciers and polar ice caps will definitely
increase sea levels and may cause catastrophic flooding in coastal
regions around the world.
I'm ticked off with the outside agency
advising the city that it is overspending. Announcements have been
made that utilities are going to increase and taxes will certainly
increase with the addition of the Event Centre. There are still
people writing in on where this centre should be located. I think
this can easily be solved — the plans should be rolled up and
put on a shelf. We simply can not afford it.
