Ticked & Tickled
Ticked Off and Tickled Pink May 22 Print E-mail

Ticked Off

I'm ticked off at a certain coffee shop in town that has huge pot holes in the parking lot. You could break an axle in those. They are pretty bad and the lineups are atrocious.

Ticked Off

I am ticked off at a local fast-food restaurant. After the big snow storm, they didn't shovel snow in their drive-through. When I tried to stop, I slid and hit the building. They told me 'tough luck' but I heard another story about this happening to someone else at a different drive-through and they couldn't do enough to help the driver.

Ticked Off

I am ticked off that someone found a Motorola Razr and can't return it. It has cost me more than $400 and it would be nice if they could return it to the police or to the Division Avenue Safeway. I need the phone back.

Tickled Pink

I am tickled pink that the adults I have talked to planned to not go camping at a campground over the May long weekend because of their silly rules. Perhaps they should look at the root of the problem instead of punishing all.

Ticked Off

I am ticked off that it is nearly impossible to find a place to rent in Medicine Hat that allows kids. Babies are no more loud or messy than drunk people, which our city has a lot of.

Ticked Off

I am ticked off that people are shocked that a certain alderman called cyclists 'idiots.' I guess no one remembers a few years ago when he called the whole city a 'bunch of idiots' when he wasn't elected mayor. Remind me again why this man was elected alderman?

Tickled Pink

I'm tickled pink that Redcliff has no off-leash areas. Good job town council. Changing this would be asking for trouble. There are enough problems with those who won't comply as it is now. Allowing dogs to run free would mean we'd have to walk around with large sticks as our neighbours in Medicine Hat have to do.

Tickled Pink

I am tickled pink because I was at a casino the other day and there was a woman beside me who won some money. She said when she wins money she's going to help everyone sitting beside her, so she gave me some money. That was very nice. She didn't want me to do anything with the money other than spend it and enjoy it. I think those are nice people.Ticked Off

Tickled Pink

I'm tickled pink. My dog was chewing on a tree twig and got the twig stuck in her throat.

Ticked Off

I'm ticked off that people are complaining about street sweeping. Park your vehicle in a driveway, a back alley, a nearby parking lot. Use imagination. So what if you have to walk a little. Keep handing those tickets out. Now if we could get our sidewalks cleaned.

Ticked Off

I’m ticked off at the person who complained about dogs being off-leash in an off-leash area. Most dogs thoroughly enjoy being able to run and play with other dogs, hence why these areas were created. To complain that a dog is not "sticking to the right side of the path" while walking in these areas is ridiculous.
