Hat resident Sharon Lanz is awaiting a
lung transplant and her recovery period of four to six months is
going to physically, emotionally and financially trying.
In an effort to reduce the financial
burden of the lung transplant, Lanz's friend, Linda Cress is
organizing a fundraiser at the Heights Baptist Church on May
24.
Tickets to the turkey dinner can be
purchased for $10 however, attending the silent auction is
free.
If anyone would like to for go the dinner
and would rather place bids on any of the more than 100 auction
items, please arrive at the Heights Baptist Church Fellowship Hall
at 1250 Division Avenue South (south entrance) by 6:45 p.m.
