MANSELL JEX Mildred Evelyn Mansell Jex passed away on June 21, 2008, at the age of 99 years, beloved wife of the late Arthur Jex . She leaves to cherish her memory two nephews, Grant (Irene) Colquhoun of Edmonton; and Gordon (Brandi) Colquhoun of Calgary; and Mabel Colquhoun (widow of the late Rev. Bryan Colquhoun) of Regina, She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; one brother, Ross Mansell; and one sister Ethel Colquhoun; and one nephew Rev. Bryan Colquhoun. Mildred was a former teacher at Western School in Golden Prairie. Mildred was an avid musician. She was a member of Woman’s Christian Temperance Movement, a long time member of Westminster United Church, the UCW and supported numerous worthy causes. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Richard Worden officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Doug, beloved husband of Kathy of Medicine Hat passed away June 23, 2008 at the age of 71 years. Funeral services will be held in the Maple Creek Armory, Maple Creek SK. on Thursday June 26 at 11:00am. A private family interment will follow in the Maple Creek Cemetery. Mr. Arnold Niebergall, beloved husband of Mrs. Loggie Niebergall of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, June 22nd, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Arnold also leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Ray (Bev) of Roberts Creek, British Columbia, Cal (Bonnie) of Medicine Hat, and Stu (Patty) of Regina; seven grandchildren, Chris, Tim (Carly), Jill (Joel), Mike (Debbie), Amy, Alex and Adam; one brother; two sisters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arnold was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Katherine; two brothers and three sisters. Arnold was born on November 8th, 1921 near Neudorf, Saskatchewan, where he was raised and educated. He married Logathe Yauck on July 4th, 1948 in Regina and they settled in Medicine Hat in 1952. Arnold owned and operated Niebergall Floors for many years. He enjoyed curling and golfing and was an avid Medicine Hat Tigers fan. He had a strong faith and an even stronger love for his family. The Funeral Service will be held in UNITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8 Palliser Way NE, on Thursday, June 26th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bart Eriksson officiating. Interment will take place in the Family Plot at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. It is with sad, yet joyful hearts we announce the home going of a dear father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Bill passed away peacefully on Monday June 16, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Left to cherish his memory are his children; Eleanor (Jim) Brandt, Beverly (Lyle) Wolfer, 7 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren, brothers Ray (Esther) Manske, Alvin (Emma) Manske, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ilona and daughter Merva (Dennis) Schimke. Spending time with family and friends is what he enjoyed the most. He taught his family how to live a Christ-centred life. He also taught his family how to love and respect each other. Bill was know to many for his inventive skills. He also displayed a genuine talent for his wood carvings and his wrought-iron creations. All of us will remember his fun-loving ways and his keen sense of humor. We will sadly miss him.
