HINTZ – DAKOTA J.

Mr. Dakota Hintz, beloved son of Patrick Hintz and Kathy Lutz (Richard Mellafont), of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, August 8th, 2008 at the age of 18 years. Dakota also leaves to cherish his memory his grandparents, Tony and Lucille Hintz, and Kay Lutz; one step-brother, Jessie Schneider; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Dakota was predeceased by his grandfather, Nelson Lutz. Dakota was born on December 26th, 1989 at 1:01 a.m. He arrived weighing in at 6 lbs. and 15 3/4 oz. and had blonde hair and blue eyes. This little tyke grew into a fine young man who loved hangin' with his buddies, music (he was never without his ipod), and dirt biking. He was an avid baseball player and an outstanding left handed pitcher. Dakota graduated this past June from Medicine Hat High and was recently employed by B & J Backhoe Services. His future ambition was to become a Fire Fighter. Dakota will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him, as well as by his loving cat, Belle. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Dakota’s Life will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, August 15th, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy those wishing to remember Mr. Dakota Hintz may do so with a gift to the Medicine Hat Cancer Centre, 666 - 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6, or to the SPCA -Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 55 Southwest Drive SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8. Mr. Ronald Walker of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, August 12th, 2008 at the age of 67 years.
