The Hat Art Club is hosting a day of Art
in the Park, this Saturday Aug.16 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Visitors can browse work by the Art Club,
the Medicine Hat Potters Club, and the Fibre Arts Society.
Art in the Park will be held in the
beautiful tree filled area outside the Cultural Centre.
Approximately 15 local artists will be
showcasing their work in various mediums including painting,
drawing, glass work, jewelry and more.
"There will be everything you can think
of," said artist and Cultural Centre Gallery curator Allan Jensen.
"It's a nice event, to go along with this particular year which
happens to be 25th anniversary for the Cultural Centre."
Admission to Art in the Park is free. |
