Homeowners have planted cedar trees blocking visibility of adjacent driveways. Bylaw officers should wake up before someone is killed.

I am tickled pink that a certain school division has three per cent fewer students this year. I hope that more parents follow our lead and get their kids to schools where they won't be bullied.

I'm ticked off that there are only two grocery stores in town that encourage customers to putting groceries in boxes instead of plastic bags. Getting rid of the plastic bags is not the answer, because we complain now of doggy do-do all over. Imagine what would it look like without bags.

Regularly I have received mail for people all over the city which includes bank statements. Other people have received our mail and I appreciate that they put it back into the mail box stating “Delivered to the wrong address." Let’s all be so kind in the spirit of Christmas and do the same. That way we can all have a Merry Christmas and maybe by the time the season is over the postal system will realize that they need to be more careful with the mail.

When a kid on a school bus yells he's "on the wrong bus, please stop," that means please stop, so the kid can get on the right bus. That does not mean keep driving and the kid gets off at the first stop and walks back to the school. How well do the drivers pay attention?

I'm really ticked off with our garbage collectors. I removed an old toilet and they say they won't take it because it's too heavy. Well, I'm almost 90 years old and I can lift the 15-pound toilet, so call me out and I'll throw it in the garbage truck for you. |
