Her opponents say that Alison Redford leads the party of the past but the Progressive Conservative leader says hers is the only party with a viable plan for Alberta's future.
Downtown Medicine Hat was hopping on Saturday as crowds of families filled the sidewalks for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. "It was outstanding — we had an excellent day," said Mavis Conrad president of the City Centre Development Agency.
"I think that this is a positive step forward," said Grade 12 student Rachel Brown, who, with classmate Katie Van der Sloot have garnered local and national science fair awards and international attention for their research into triclosan — a chemical used as an anti-bacterial agent that can be found in a wide range of household products.
Wildrose leader Danielle Smith expects upgrades to the Medicine Hat Hospital will be high up on the ladder of priorities if her party is elected and they revamp how infrastructure projects are funded.
Len Mitzel will "absolutely" return the pay he received for sitting on a committee that has not met since 2008.
