This city continues to go backwards. For instance the money that was spent putting up signs for off-leash areas.
There now is more dog crap along the paths and fewer people using the paths. Every other city I have been in has dog parks. We have the perfect place that the city already owns but council figures that letting dogs run free around town is a better idea.
The area I am talking about is the old Riverside Water Park with a parking lot and chain-link fence. I am tired of having dogs run up to me and my dog, not knowing if the dog is going to attack us. I am a dog owner but I respect the other people who want to use the path. I have seen dogs chasing people on bikes as I live right by the path.
It's time for council and bylaw people to take action on this situation.
