The annual YMCA Strong Kids-Family Fun Day has been scheduled for Monday, Feb. 20, the next stat holiday in our province.
On the same day, the Family Leisure Centre is playing host to "Family Day 2012."
The event at the downtown Y runs from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and offers a great opportunity for families in Medicine Hat and area to come together for a day of swimming, obstacle bouncers, rock climbing, gaming and face-painting.
Cost of admission to Family Fun Day is $3 per person or $6 per family, with all proceeds going to the YMCA Strong Kids campaign.
The event at the Leisure Centre, which goes from 12 noon until 5 p.m., is free of charge. Besides swimming and other activities, a variety of displays will be available and people are urged to enter their names for door-prize draws.
